Our guesthouse is located only 50 km from Budapest at the foot of the Börzsöny, on the edge of a wonderful little mountain village.
The settlement touches the border of the Duna-Ipoly National Park, the mountain air and the crystal clear water of the springs captivate everyone.
Berkenye is an island of tranquility…
The village is a small jewelry box hidden in the hillsides and embraced by fabulous forests.
In our settlement there is the Morgó stream, which also feeds the lake next to the Guesthouse.
From the spring of 2008, after a complete renovation and expansion, the Berkenye Guesthouse welcomes its guests all year round, who can enjoy the comfort and inexhaustible possibilities of rural tourism. The facilities of the guesthouse are excellent for relaxing with larger family and friends, as well as for organizing forest schools and class trips.
In the cozy garden you can prepare dishes with an oven and a cauldron.
In the yard there is a ping-pong table, skittles and badminton.
Our guest house has 5 rooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 2 common areas: it can accommodate 28-30 people. The house is self contained. In order not to disturb our guests, we live far enough away but close enough to be able to help them at any time.
Every member of our family works with heart and soul to ensure that whoever comes to us comes as a guest and leaves as a friend!
